sometimes love makes you do crazy things

.......like push back your college graduation six months so that you don't have to live apart from your husband for a month. that's not too crazy though, right? I mean isn't the point of marriage to never have to be apart? Parker and I's original plan for him to move out to California during Spring term and me to continue working and going to school so I can graduate and then come to CA after seemed like a great idea at first....until the time he was about to leave me got closer and I was an emotional disaster. I quickly changed my mind once I realized what I was getting myself into. luckily, my job likes me enough to let me come back in the fall for some crazy reason, and has offered me a job after I graduate in December. exciting big girl stuff!

In the meantime, I found an awesome job nannying an angel baby for the summer while I'm in California so I am really excited about that....JUST LOOK AT HER.

I love sweet little Nora so much already.

we had to start the summer off right by making a detour and going to Disneyland for a few days before we worked our way up the coast! It was my first time (not counting Disneyworld) and
I loved every second of it.

My sister Jessica came with us which made it 10x more fun. She is COMEDY and I miss her already.

we were our swimsuits under our clothes the first day thinking there would be more water rides....whoops. that's what you get for growing up Richardson and thinking all theme parks are like 6 flags with awesome water parks, haha

we stayed at the Disneyland Hotel which was a magical experience in and of itself

we of course ate REALLY CLEAN the whole weekend......

you've gotta YOLO when you're on vacation. that pizza was so good we went there for dinner again the next day. judge us.

we had to go to Disney's California Adventure while we were there

we had the BEST two days ever

Parker's mom flew down and joined us for the second half of the weekend! aren't they twins? she's the best

It really was the happiest weekend and just made me that much more excited to be spending the summer in California!

have I mentioned how fun it is to be living in the heart of the silicon valley for a few months?
living 10 minutes away from Google and cruising around on their bikes is one of the many perks

we went to the Giants game in the city yesterday and it was a blast! Parker's quickly converting me to all of his teams.....go Giants, Warriors, 49ers! Am I missing any? He likes to quiz me on players and I'm slowly learning...

It's so fun living so close to Parker's family and being able to spend so much time with them, too. I really scored with not only a great guy, but a great second family to belong to! I love being a Fields.

I know that this summer will be the best one yet!
